Once I worked with a christian fellow, I think he was (is) a seventh day evangelist. A very nice guy from Ethiopia. We talked about God and religion and he told me he wanted to go to Ethiopia in order to spread the gospel so to say. I got a bit confused and asked him why since christianty were older there than in most other countries. His answer was that they had the wrong kind of christianity. The koptic tradition, I believe that that is the oldest christian tradion still alive. So I naturally had to ask him what was most important to him; God or religion. He never understood what I meant.
All religion get their subgroups but still it puzzles me. Of course I have my own religion and even mine has its subgroups. It's a wonderfull world. It's not enough to be christian. You have to be the right kind of christian, the right kind of protestant, the right kind of catholic, the right kind...
